A Stroll Through Central Park

One of the most recognizable locations in Central Park and New York City is the Bethesda Fountain with the famous 8-foot-tall bronze Angel of the Waters statue atop thanks to the many films and TV shows it appears in. I spent a beautiful sunny afternoon strolling and exploring around Bethesda Terrace, Central Park’s most famous formal landscape. And right below the Terrace is the softly lit open-air reception hall – a colorful space unlike anywhere else in the Park.

I decided to wear my Strut Corset. From luminescent hand-sewn jewels, to Swarovski crystals, and vibrant gemstones, my beautifully crafted corset catches light from every angle. The hand-sewn jewels are meticulously structured to form an elegant gradient, not only in hues and values, but also with size and shape. My corset is fully boned, sewn with hand-made boning channels, waist-tape, and lined with 100% horsehair. The underbusk at the center front is sewn in the lining fabric to avoid visibility on the outside of my corset. I paired it with this lightweight, flowy skirt that was perfect for my afternoon stroll through Central Park.

My corset is made up with three different fabrications in rich colors. The luxuriously soft plush velvet on the back of this corset presents a subtle sheen throughout its deep navy blue tone. The incredibly soft peacock blue velvet on the side panels boosts a buttery feel I don’t want to take my hands away from and the luminous teal satin on the front panels showcases luxury with elegance and a smooth, silk-like finish. I lined this corset in a peacock feather pattern printed cotton with embroidered details that feels super soft against my skin.

They send a message about how I want to be perceived and that message reflects who I am, my personality, my loves and my inspirations. I like to take risks and take chances. But it’s not just about how I look, but how I feel on the inside. The way I feel about myself is one of the most important elements when it comes to how I dress.
