Dressing to express

Feminine Meets Masculine

Textures, prints, masculine and feminine touches come together in earthy, autumnal colors for a look brimming with artisanal charm. This season’s catwalks schooled us in cool co-ed style. The lesson? Break stereotypes with bold mash-ups of color and texture. With fall being my absolute favorite time of the year I’ve been looking forward to dressing for the new season. Every corset I design is an opportunity to express my individual personality. Whatever I’m thinking, however I’m feeling – I dress for it! Today I am soaking in the beautiful foliage and cooler temperatures in a charming town in New England wearing my military-inspired corset that has a feminine twist and small details that make a big impact.

Automne Doré

Feminine Meets Masculine

Golden as the autumn sky, the front of my corset is in a rich harvest gold tone cotton fabric that adds freshness to my casual-chic style. The luxuriously soft, plush midnight blue velvet on the sides and back presents a subtle sheen throughout its rich, deep blue tone. The embroidered jacquard ribbon creates a rich and sophisticated look that draws the eye to the intricate pattern of gold metallic flowers and leaves. Chic round metal buttons have a unique, antique gold finish that features an ornate crest that is fit for royalty. On the back is a regal and elegant handmade bullion crest appliqué with antique gold metallic thread embroidered into the crest, creating a 3D appearance. What really sets my corset apart is the beautiful gold stud busk I sewed for the center front closure and matching gold grommets for the back metallic gold lace-up.

It's what's on the inside that counts!

Feminine Meets Masculine

The navy and saffron plaid cotton flannel lining is the definition of cozy-chic! With a large-scale plaid pattern and an ultra soft hand, it’ll keep you warm into the colder months. This essential statement print is both classic and timeless. I paired my corset with an iconic moto jacket done in this season’s favorite hue – a rich jewel green color.
