Game Changing Jersey

Game Day

I am kicking off 2019 in my winning game-day corset since Super Bowl LIII is less than one month away! Being that I’m from New England myself, I am showing off my Patriots pride in what I like to call my new “game-changing jersey” that has me feeling like a champ every time I lace up. I paid homage by pairing it with these comfy navy leggings, Patriot logo high socks and Patriot printed cotton lining.

The front 2 panels of my corset are designed in jersey fabric with Tom Brady’s number (12) that is screen printed on the front. I sewed a white athletic mesh on the sides and the back panels are made with a navy plush velvet fabric with hand-sewn football appliques. My athleisure corset looks like athletic wear, has the same craft and durability, but is distinguished by a high level of craftsmanship and luxe look.

Improving Your Core

Game Day

Including corsets into your everyday regimen does help for positive changes to your nutrition and fitness levels. If you are one of those people accustomed to eating heavy foods and large portions, eating too quickly, and/or binge eating at certain times of the day than corseting can help you combat those appetite issues. It has been noted that hunger goes way down when we corset, which is similar to gastric banding surgery. Wearing a corset helps you feel full faster and you quickly learn that it’s not quite as easy to overeat compared to when you’re not wearing one. Waist training is a form of body modification and over time you will feel satisfied with smaller portions of lighter and high-nutritional quality foods. And since waist training helps make you more conscientious about your posture and muscle tone, your core will improve its strength. I find that I keep my abdominal muscles engaged at all times while I’m wearing my corset and since it is constructed to my body’s measurements I never have to force my muscles to flex. We’ll root for that!
