Summer Captivation

Charming Collinsville

Collinsville is a historic village in New England and located along the banks of the Farmington River in Connecticut. During the summer months this charming town is jam packed with cyclists enjoying the rail trails, boarding and kayaking on the river, live music and amazing farmer’s markets. My Lilac Sweetheart Corset paired with my floral printed wrap skirt was perfect for a fresh and feminine, summery ensemble.

Lilac Sweetheart

Charming Collinsville

My Lilac Sweetheart Corset is inspired by the confident, adventurous, and busy woman-about-town who values quality, fit and fashion. I personally wear all of my own designs because this is an important part of the development process – so that I can make each corset feel fantastic as well as look amazing. My mission is to create designs that allow women to accept themselves as they are and to help make them feel their most beautiful selves.

A Bridge Through Time

Charming Collinsville

The versatility of my Lilac Sweetheart Corset is one of the things I love most about it. You may remember this corset worn in Corsets & Cupcakes where I styled it with a romantic and flirtatious flare. Here my look was very feminine and playful and surprisingly the satin lilac flowers on my corset matched perfectly with the whimsical lilac flowers on my skirt. You may also remember this corset was originally made for my niece’s prom with a matching lilac, satin, high-waisted long skirt. That was in 2006! Not only is my corset still fashionable, but also it’s perfectly intact. The flower appliqués withheld all of the Swarovski crystals that were hand-placed in the center of each, the dye job I did on the trims, lace, flower appliqués and lacing has not faded, and the satin fabric still has its luminous sheen and silky smooth hand.

Follow my journey into the fall season, as I’ll be styling this corset again with distressed skinny jeans for a sleek, sexy vibe.

Do you currently own a corset and would like help styling it? Or perhaps you’re ready for a custom handmade corset of your own. Let’s get started! I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Please comment below.

Cheers!
