So Easy to Wear
How to Wear Corsets in Real Life
Hi guys and welcome to my new personal lookbook of Corsetry! I am the Designer and Creative Director behind Champagne Corsets & Designs and also the Model, Blogger and Style Influencer. I’m taking MY handmade, couture corsets to the street. I hope to inspire you to make corsets an essential part of your wardrobe. My blog will help crush any misconceptions about corsets and not only show how confident you will feel in them, but also show just how easy it is to wear them!
Perfectly Nautical
How to Wear Corsets in Real Life
My sister visited Italy and brought me back these 4 gorgeous buttons with anchors painted on them. I love summer, I love the beach and I love everything nautical! Instead of stashing these beauties away where no one can see them I made this one-of-a-kind, nautical themed custom corset. Its perfect and very appropriate for beach and yacht parties. It took me about 3 weeks of non-stop sewing to finish this corset because there’s always some challenging aspect I get myself into. This corset is made up of 12 panels which means every stripe at the seams had to match up perfectly! I will be the first to admit I am an extreme perfectionist and yes, there were times I re-sewed seams over and over again if the stripes didn’t match up just so! I found the other embellishments in my favorite NYC trim store and the crystals are all from Swarovski.

Breathe Easy
How to Wear Corsets in Real Life
When people hear the word “corset” or see me wearing one of mine, their first initial reaction is to ask if I can breath in it. They assume it is rigid and I can’t eat. This one is made with 100% cotton and lined in luxurious 100% cotton as well. You can’t see it but the lining is red and looks super cool against the white and navy stripes. It is super soft against my bare skin and not heavy or rigid at all. As you can see I am able to sit easily, climb the rocks and take in the ocean air.
Set Sail in Style

I paired my corset with these white jeans, a straw hat and block heels. This is just one of the many ways you can wear it. You could also pair it with your favorite denim shorts and flip-flops for a more casual look.
