Will Your Corset Protect You From COVID-19?

A Positive Perspective

Will Your Corset Protect You From COVID-19?

The wellbeing of our community is paramount and as we adjust to this new normal and settle in while we practice social distancing, I’m using this time wisely to create beautiful designs, discover inspiration, imagine the impossible, and appreciate all that I have. Corsets will not protect you from the coronavirus, but staying in will.

I’ve taken this time to go through all of the questions I’ve received from our digital channels to share with everyone in this wonderful community.

Q: What are the best pieces to pair with a corset for a professional event?

A: A neutral skirt and a shawl to cover your shoulders will help keep you dressed up. Those pieces are both universal and timeless.

Q: Can a corset be part of a business casual outfit?

A: Absolutely, yes! Just be particular about what you pair your corset with. A sleek pair of denim and a stylish blazer will take you from the office to happy hour with the ladies.

It's all about Confidence

Will Your Corset Protect You From COVID-19?

Q: How do you find the confidence to wear something out of your comfort zone?

A: Keep it simple by incorporating this one item into your wardrobe. That way, everything stays familiar, but you’ve only changed one thing.

Q: How do you master lacing-up your corset?

A: Practice makes perfect! Every time you put on your corset, it’ll get easier, and you will become more familiar with how tight or loose you like to cinch your waist. Always have a mirror available.

As a small independent business, it is our responsibility to temporarily close our studio to our clients. As difficult as that is, I am excited to connect with you all through the digital channels. Plus, new blog posts will continue to go live as they have been on ChampagneCorsets.com. Feel free to DM us @champagnecorsets or email us at [email protected] with any questions you have about Corsetry.

In the meantime, stay home, be safe and know that we will all get through this together.

Let’s get started on a custom handmade corset of your own!  I am happy to answer any questions you may have.  Please comment below.

Cheers
